Client: MIRA
What was achieved?
Replacing a manual system with a Dexdyne system allowed centralised monitoring
Centralised monitoring system
MIRA needed a more efficient means of collecting and logging data during field trials of MOD and commercial vehicles (ranging from armoured transport to industrial-scale grass-cutting machinery).
Dexdyne systems were implemented as an alternative to the manual data-logging equipment already installed. With automated data collection to a centralised database, event-based high speed logging and low power consumption, the Dexdyne system was chosen for an initial trial in the USA that required monitoring of various data points as well as GPS location information.
After a successful trial, MIRA recently used Dexdyne on an MOD-based test ground and has adopted the system fully into its product line.
